Grandmother's Fans Applique' Workshop


Make a stunning version of the traditional Mohawk Trail block.  You will learn to use a 30 degree triangle ruler to cut triangle sections from charm squares and then use simple applique for adding the pieced sections to background fabrics. This is an ideal project for a confident beginner and intermediate quilters to learn piecing triangles as well as the freezer paper method of applique. 

Class fee includes instruction by Sherri McConnell and a catered lunch.

1 Layer Cake and 2 Charm Packs -or- 6 Charm Packs
For your background you will need 1 yard each of four different backgrounds
Simpli-EZ 30 Degree Triangle Ruler, Freezer Paper
Binding 5/8yd
Backing 4 yards
